Peter Obi: I wouldn’t have contested if APC had picked Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as candidate (+Video)

A trending video has shown the candidate of the Labour Party in last February 25 presidential election, Mr Peter Obi, saying his interest in seeing Nigeria work for everyone would have made him support Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for President if the All Progressive Congress (APC) had given him the ticket to run.

Please watch video below:

Mr Obi stated this while interacting with friends and associates during an informal gathering to mark Mr Dele Momodu’s birthday in London.

According to him, “I am desperate to see Nigeria work. I don’t hide it. Any day anytime, I even confronted APC, if you wanted, why didn’t you bring Osinbajo.”

“Let’s have the place working for everybody so that we can have people who want to work for the country and are healthy and good.

“They person they have brought today, it is not as if he cannot do it, but that would have been 20 years ago, not the kind of country that we have today. Because the country needs somebody like me 24 hours working.”
