There are reports of an explosion at the secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Aba Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, worsening the tense situation on local government election day.
It is the second of such explosion since Mr. Tony Okocha took over as the party chairman in the state.
There are no reports of casualties though damage was done to the gate, windows and doors.
The party has not commented officially on the development; and the Police, which stepped back from providing security for the ongoing local government elections, has not issued a statement
