He may not be hale and hearty as rumour mills claim, but President Muhammadu Buhari never lets an opportunity to pray to his God in public, as required of Muslims, pass him by..
This Friday, looking frail, he went through the rites like those who had the Juma’at prayers at the Aso Villa mosque.
Among those who prayed with him included the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Baru Maikanti; Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu; National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Mongunu (rtd), Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, Director-General of Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura; and the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
The President was not at the Juma’at prayers last week, and has been absent at the last three Federal Executive Council (FEC) meetings, raising fears of a deteriorating health.
