Labour calls off strike, resumes negotiation Thursday

After two working days, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended its ongoing strike with effect from today, Sunday, September 30.
The National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ayuba Wabba, made the announcement at the Labour House in Abuja.
According to him, the organised labour has got firm commitment from the government, that the Tripartite Committee of the Minimum Wage Committee would reconvene on October 4.
It is expected that workers will be at their desks and other duty posts from Tuesday, 2nd October, 2018.
