Summary of vices contending for the destiny of our children, teens and youths:
1. Immorality – sexual perversion, pornography, gay clubs, gender identity, cohabiting
2. Peer pressure and cultism
3. Substance abuse and drug addiction
4. The dark side of social media
5. Sickness – physical and mental health issues i.e. depression and suicidal ideation
6. The spirit of disobedience
7. Unemployment and cyber-crime
8. Love for the world rather than love for God
Scripture backing:
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28 (KJV)
“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19, 20 (KJV)
Declarations:
1. We declare that our children, teens and youths will no longer be influenced by the system of the world that promotes disobedience, slothfulness, mediocrity, ‘get-rich quick’ mentality, unrighteousness, immorality, indecency and depravity in Jesus’ Name
2. We declare that the hold of the menace of cultism, sexual perversion (including pornography, fornication and homosexuality), substance abuse and drug addiction, over the children, teens and youths of Nigeria is broken in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
3. We declare that the negative impact of social media and its accompanying ills (i.e. pornography, cybercrime, fraud etc.) on our children, teens and youths is destroyed and rendered null and void in the mighty Name of Jesus
4. We declare that corruption, nepotism, injustice, impunity, greed, deceit and unrighteousness will become repulsive to our children, teens and youths in Jesus’ Name. Instead, they will demand righteousness and grow to become formidable leaders in every sector of this nation to establish good governance, justice, peace, stability and prosperity in Nigeria in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
5. We declare that Nigerian youths will no longer be portals for violence, insecurity, unrest, bribery, armed robbery, kidnapping and abduction, but will rather be sharp threshing instruments in the hands of God to rebuild a prosperous, secure, safe and righteous nation that will become the envy of the world in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
6. We declare that our children, teens and youths will grow and prosper in health, attaining all their physical, cognitive and socio-developmental milestones in Jesus’ Name. They will be assertive, bold and unashamed, understanding their identity in Christ. They will no longer seek validation from the world system and will no longer be plagued with the spirit of depression, suicidal ideation nor any form of illness in the Name of Jesus.
7. We declare that our children, teens and youths will be strong and they will do exploits! Notable entrepreneurs shall arise from among them to become righteous creators of employment, to boost the economy of Nigeria and combat the spirit of slothfulness, mediocrity and unemployment in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
8. We declare that the Nigerian child, teen and youth will be ten times better than their contemporaries, full of wisdom, grace and the spirit of excellence, breaking new grounds across the globe in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
9. We declare that our children will proclaim Christ among their peers and be pace setters in righteousness, creating a new paradigm for positive peer influence in Jesus’ Name.
10. We declare that our children, teens and youths in Nigeria will see visions and be full of wisdom for witty inventions, innovations and ideas to bring advances in education, science and technology, healthcare, finance, godly fashion, e-marketing, godly content creation, media and information technology, oil and gas and alternate forms of energy, mining, education, sports, agriculture, governance, the legal system and all other sectors in Nigeria.
11. We declare that our children, teens and youths will love righteousness and hate iniquity; they will eschew evil and walk in truth as burning and shining lights to establish the Kingdom of God in Nigeria and around the world in Jesus’ Name.
12. We declare that our children are taught of the Lord and great shall be their peace. They will love the Lord God Almighty completely with their hearts, souls, minds and strength. They will walk in the ways of the Lord all the days of their lives in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
We make these declarations firmly and unapologetically by the authority of the Word of GOD this 25th day of May, 2025 and declare them sealed and irrevocable in the Name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, AMEN!!!
