Chelsea will attempt to make a trio of signings before the end of August, including Southampton defender Cedric Soares, The Telegraph claims.

CHELSEA TO MOVE FOR BELOTTI
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti once Diego Costa leaves the club, according to a report from the Daily Star.
Costa was told at the end of the 2016-17 Premier League season to find a new home, though the Spain international is yet to do so and is training alone in Brazil.
Should the former Atletico Madrid forward be sold, the Blues will make a substantial offer for Belotti – who has scored 38 goals in 70 Serie A appearances for the Turin club.

CHELSEA TO MAKE £50M ROSE BID
Chelsea are ready to make a bid worth a whopping £50 million for Tottenham full-back Danny Rose, claims the Sun.

And though he issued an apology for his words, Chelsea may look to exploit any uncertainty with a tempting offer for their London rivals.
SPURS WANT CELTA’S DIOP
Celta midfielder Pape Cheikh Diop has emerged as a strong candidate to become Tottenham’s first signing of the transfer window, according to the Mirror .
The north Londoners are the only team in the Premier League yet to make a single signing as the window approaches its final fortnight.
And despite pursuing Everton star Ross Barkley throughout the summer, Diop’s arrival could scupper that deal as Spurs tire of the drawn-out negotiations.

SERGI ROBERTO TO MAKE PL DECISION
Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto will make a decision on his future this week, with Chelsea and Manchester United interested, according to Sport .
Sergi Roberto has become frustrated by a lack of faith shown in him and the signing of Paulinho has further fuelled his current unhappiness at Barcelona.
Chelsea, United, Juventus and AC Milan are all ready to meet his €40 million release clause, with the midfielder preferring a move to the Premier League.
VAN DIJK TO COST WORLD RECORD FEE
Virgil van Dijk is more likely to join Chelsea or Manchester City than Liverpool, if Southampton are persuaded to sell the defender, claims Yahoo Sports .
Southampton are determined to hold onto the centre-half for another season, but may be tempted to cash in, if they are offered a world-record fee for a defender of more than £70 million.

MAN CITY TO MAKE ALEXIS BID
Manchester City are set to make a £60 million bid for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, The Telegraph reports.

PEREZ SET TO END ARSENAL STAY
Lucas Perez is set to complete his move away from Arsenal in the coming days, with an £11 million return to former club Deportivo La Coruna, according to the Daily Mail.
The 28-year-old has failed to establish himself at the Emirates following his transfer last summer, scoring just once in his 11 Premier League appearances.

The striker has not returned to training as he looks for a move away from Stamford Bridge after Conte reportedly told him he is not needed at the club. Costa has complained that he is being “treated like a criminal” by Chelsea, but he has been told he is in breach of contract by skipping training and risks being fined if he does not show up.

He returned to feature in Barca’s pre-season and the Gamper Trophy win over Chapecoense. He was not needed in Sunday’s Clasico defeat to Real Madrid, though, and is said to have been told he is not part of Ernesto Valverde’s plan.
