Dino Melaye comes to Senate in academic gown

Never short of the dramatic, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Dino Melaye, came to National Assembly in the unusual: an Ahmadu Bello University academic gown!
He strutted around the lobby of the National Assembly in the gown before stepping into the chamber where he moved around exchanging pleasantries, backslapping, and roaring in stentorian laughter as some joked about his attire.
Just yesterday, the Vice Chancellor of his his former school, ABU, Zaria, confirmed he got a degree from the school, though the publisher of the online publication, Sahara Reporters, that broke the story questioning his academic qualifications, Omoyele Sowore, has raised fresh issues.
