Acting President Yemi Osinbjo Thursday formally righted a year-long constitutionally unfair treatment of Kogi State when he named Professor Stephen Ocheni when he named him the Minister of Labour and Employment.
The former occupant of the seat, Late Minister James Ocholi SAN died while occupying that portfolio a year ago. Kogi State has been unrepresented in the Federal Executive Council (FEC) as required by the constitution.
Suleiman Hassan from Gombe State replaced Amina Mohammed who resigned to become a deputy Secretary-General at the United Nations (UN) headquarters.
He is now Minister of State for Power, Works, and Housing.
