Which comes first; is it wealth and health that makes a man blessed or God’s blessings that makes a man well and supplied? A chicken and egg puzzle.
I recently overheard the following conversation on blessing that got me wondering as to whether I was a blessed or cursed man. “That guy is truly blessed. He has choice properties all over the place, exotic cars… and is loaded”.
When you have the Lord GOD as your SHEPHERD, you are truly blessed even if you have nothing else. When you LIVE and WALK in Him, you are truly blessed irrespective of WHERE you live and work (Psalms 1 & 23)
True BLESSING is not in WHAT you have but WHO you have. It is not about WHERE you live but HOW you live.
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly…But his delight is in the law of the Lord…He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water…whatever he does shall prosper.
