WHO are You, Lord?… WHAT do You want me to do?” – Acts 9:4-6 NKJV
We all are on our life journeys. Many have their destinations, goals and expected outcomes clearly outlined, and we all should. Nothing and no one can divert or deter us, unless a power beyond us._
So was Paul, formerly known as Saul. He had his path ahead of him clearly outlined, until the Lord encountered him. His life was never the same thereafter:
▪A previous life journey was terminated
He got a correct view of himself, as SERVANT
▪He gained a correct view of God, as LORD
▪He acquired a correct desire, to KNOW GOD
▪And obtained a correct ambition, GOD’S WILL
To claim an encounter with the Risen Lord and continue on our old life journey, pursuing our old desires and ambitions is not only a fallacy but a delusion.
WHO are you LORD? WHAT would you have me do? These two are the ring tones of a heart in tune with the Lord.
