Updated: Buhari met only four ministers separately

Must read

Speculations that President Muhammadu Buhari is in a crucial meeting with his ministers for what a source said is a prelude to a political earthquake, may have been a little exaggerated.
A source debunked the story of a “political earthquake”, disclosing that only four ministers: Kayode Fayemi (Solid Minerals), Mohammed Bello (Federal Capital Territory), Solomon Dalung (Sports), and Usani Uguru Usani (Niger Delta) came to the Presidential Villa to brief Buhari on their activities.
In fact, the four men met him separately.
There have been talks of a planned removal of some ministers before the second anniversary of the present administration on May 29.
Meanwhile, a temporary replacement may have have been named for suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Eng. Babachir David Lawal. She is Dr. Habibat Lawan is Acting SGF.
Speculations are also rife that Ambassador Arab Yadam is the Acting DG National Intelligence Agency (NIA), after the suspension of Ambassador Ayodele Oke, who had a bitter experience Wednesday when he could not gain access to see Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Lawal and Oke were sent home for a forced rest for investigations to be concluded on their roles in the mismanagement of federal funds for the North East for Lawal; and Oke’s claim that nearly N15 billion found in an Ikoyi apartment belonged to NIA.
