Four former Governors: Nasir el Rufai (Kaduna), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Mohammed Badaru (Jigawa), and David Umahi (Ebonyi) have made the list of the long-awaited ministerial nominees, announced on the floor of the Senate by its President, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
The list of 28, delivered by Chief of Staff to the President and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on Thursday afternoon are as follows:

It is not yet clear why the 36 states of the federation were not represented on the list as has been the tradition, though there were speculations of a further list.
