Another Governor on the platform of the embattled Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may have initiated the process of leaving for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), sources have disclosed.
They point in the direction of of a north-west Governor, who recently sent home all political appointees via a post on social media.
“He is creating openings for when he will jump ship,” one source said.
He is said to be jittery at the array of forces stacked against him in the PDP in his state, especially since his deputy is the son of a dreaded former Army chief.
“He believes that there is a plot to sack him so his deputy can take over, therefore he needs the protection the APC will provide him to see him through his tenure,” the source told Everyday.ng
