The monthly competition which is organized by the team of Princewills Trust and sponsored by the same organization, announced Miss. Esther Kiri, after a well contested competition where she beat both runners up, Chikezie Joseph and Joy Valentine, to win the N100,000 cash prize.
A statement from Princewills Trust quoted Mina Omunguye, a board of Trustee member, who presented the cash award on behalf of the Trust, as saying that the aim of the Trust was exemplified in hardworking women like Esther who, against all odds, persevered. She pointed out that nobody should wait for anybody, to start to find your purpose. “Our job here is to encourage those who understand this.”
The winner said she was badly in need of help to expand her business and was on the verge of giving up, adding that it had always been her desire to work hard, but it had not been easy. She called on youths in the state to shun easy money and thanked the Princewills Trust for giving her and many others like her the opportunity. She promised not to waste it.
