Police find missing girl, seek public assistance to trace relatives

The Anambra state Police Command in conjunction with the Ukpo, Dunukofia community vigilante has recovered a female child – Blessing Boniface Anthony, aged 13 years. She is about 3 feet tall, dark in complexion, and without any tribal mark.

She was reportsadly found wandering along Enugu/Onitsha Expressway without any specified destination and could not find her way back home.

She claimed to be a native of Enugu and stays with her aunt in Onitsha but could not state the location.She is presently in the protective care of Dunukofia Divisional Anti human trafficking unit pending identification of her parents or guardian.

The public is hereby kindly requested to disseminate this message to enable the biological parents or close relations identify her, the Police said.

The command, in a message by the PPRO requested that anyone with information about the found child should report at Dunukofia Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639, please.
