A fake video showing former Vice President Atiku Abubakar making a declaration for the 2019 presidential election has k
hit the social media.
One of his aides pointed out Thursday night that the video is a parody of Atiku 2011 declaration downloaded from his official website and tweaked to serve the purpose of shadowy elements.
He added that those behind the video were known but would not mention names.
A careful study of the video showed the former Vice President looking far younger than his present age.
Atiku was conspicuously absent at the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings held this week in Abuja, leaving many speculating that he was out of Favour with the party top guns.
Recently, a company in which he has huge interests, INTELS, came under the hammer of the federal government for tax reasons, in what many read to mean he was being targeted because of his intention to contest the 2019 presidential election
