PRINCIPLES OF ENGAGEMENT IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE<\/p>\n
By Mathias Echioda<\/strong><\/p>\n And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in Devotional<\/strong> You may feel stuck, restricted, or excluded; but what if the shut door is God\u2019s preservation? What if He\u2019s protecting you from what\u2019s outside, while preparing you for what\u2019s ahead? When God shuts a door, it\u2019s not rejection \u2013 it\u2019s redirection or divine insulation.<\/p>\n This moment in Genesis illustrates divine sovereignty. God doesn\u2019t just call us to obedience; He secures the outcome. Being “shut in” by God isn\u2019t punishment but providence. It’s God taking responsibility for the protection of His promise. Much like the seal of the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:13), God secures what He commissions.<\/p>\n If you feel confined or shut in, trust the One who holds the key. Stay faithful in the space He\u2019s sealed. Don\u2019t try to pry open doors He\u2019s closed for your safety. \nThe ark was ready, the animals were gathered, and Noah\u2019s family had obeyed God\u2019s word. Then Scripture says something profound \u2014 \u201cThe Lord shut him in\u201d. It wasn\u2019t Noah who locked the door; it was God. Sometimes, what feels like a door slamming shut is God sealing you in for safety and separation.<\/p>\n
