The governor\u2019s close aides reportedly remained unaware of his location or travel plans, deepening the mystery surrounding his absence.<\/p>\n
Security personnel were seen barring staff access to the Brick House, the governor\u2019s official residence, further fueling speculation over Fubara\u2019s next move.<\/p>\n
Despite the uncertainty, governmental operations across the executive, legislative, and judicial arms resumed on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the House of Assembly, under Speaker Martins Amaewhule, reconvened and passed a motion calling for an investigation into the activities of the former Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, during the period of emergency rule.<\/p>\n
