{"id":92904,"date":"2025-02-03T19:52:58","date_gmt":"2025-02-03T19:52:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=92904"},"modified":"2025-02-03T19:52:58","modified_gmt":"2025-02-03T19:52:58","slug":"who-killed-three-siblings-and-put-them-in-a-freezer-in-anambra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=92904","title":{"rendered":"Who killed three siblings and put them in a freezer in Anambra?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">This is the puzzle the Police in Anambra State is working to unravel following the tragic discovery by a mother in Nnewichi, Nnewi of her three children, between ages five and nine years, killed and stuffed in a freezer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">Spokesman of the Anambra State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the tragedy, adding that the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Nnaghe Itam, has ordered a full investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">\u201cThe bodies have been recovered, and the CP has transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka for thorough investigation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">The two daughters, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">Ejezie Chikaima Daviana (9), Ejezie Chimziterem Dominica (7) and son, Ejezie Chimdilim David (5) were left alone at home by their mother,\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\"> Mrs Chikazor Ejezie, take part in part in an examination on the fateful day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">According to reports, she returned home to find it opened, an unusual development, because it is usually locked when she leaves the children at home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">Narrating the ordeal of the family, the father of the victims, Mr Ejezie Udobi, who was in Irrua, Edo State, when the unfortunate incident took place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">\u201cMy wife told me after searching for the kids by herself and a search party, without success, in despair the deep freezer was opened and behold, the dead bodies of the kids were there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">\u201cIn the house, bungalow where we live with two tenants and the landlord, the kids were eating when the assailants stormed the house at about noon as there were traces of food in plates that were like forcefully abandoned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">\u201cThe corpses of the kids have been deposited at a morgue and the police, CPS Nnewi, is where we reported the matter and the police are investigating. You can see that I am completely devastated.
