I don\u2019t have to say anymore, but that\u2019s what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 576px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-92638-1\" width=\"576\" height=\"1024\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/VID-20250107-WA0029.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/VID-20250107-WA0029.mp4\">https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/VID-20250107-WA0029.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>Steve Witkoff, Trump\u2019s special envoy to the Middle East, said at the same press conference that there\u2019s been a lot of progress on efforts to release about 100 hostages held in the Gaza Strip, saying he\u2019s hopeful a deal is achieved ahead of the inauguration.<\/p>\n<p>Witkoff said he had just returned from discussions in Doha, Qatar, on the hostage release deal and was planning to head back to the region Wednesday or Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe we\u2019ve been on the verge of it.
