Baruwa had assumed office after a properly conducted election held at the union\u2019s headquarters in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>The three-member panel of the Appeal Court dismissed the appeal filed by MC Oluomo\u2019s faction, declaring it devoid of merit. In addition, the court imposed a fine of \u20a6100,000 on the appellants, further solidifying Baruwa\u2019s leadership position.<\/p>\n<div class=\"amp-wp-9fdb2d6\" data-amp-original-style=\"display:flex;align-items:center;justify-content:center; padding:10px;margin-top: 50px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gwg.ng\/?amp\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"i-amphtml-intrinsic-sizer\" role=\"presentation\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyBoZWlnaHQ9IjM2MCIgd2lkdGg9IjM2MCIgeG1sbnM9Imh0dHA6Ly93d3cudzMub3JnLzIwMDAvc3ZnIiB2ZXJzaW9uPSIxLjEiLz4=\" alt=\"\" align=\"center\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Court documents released on Friday detail the ruling, which effectively counters any attempts to displace Baruwa from his role as the NURTW president. The judgment reads:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic; text-align: center;\">\u201cThis is an appeal against the judgment\/decision of the National Industrial Court Sitting in Abuja, in Suit No. NICN\/ABJ\/263\/2023, delivered on the 11th March, 2024, by Justice O. O.
