He wants things to go off the rails&#8221;\u00a0the leaders said.<\/p>\n<p>At a meeting in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State, the leaders expressed concern that Tinubu, Barrister Anslem Ojezua, Perekeme Kpodoh, Dr. Wale Ahmed, Mr. Okeze Uzochukwu, Timi Frank and Chief Tajudeen Olusi appear not to have learnt any lesson from the past.<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u00a0completely disagree with Tinubu,\u00a0Barrister Anslem Ojezua, Perekeme Kpodoh, Dr. Wale Ahmed, Mr. Okeze Uzochukwu and Chief Tajudeen Olusi\u201d the leaders said.<br \/>\nIn a communiqu\u00e9, the leaders condemned Tinubu and others for deviating from the party line.<br \/>\n\u201cTenure extension is in the best interest of the party.Tenure extension is very important as the party moves from primaries to the all-important general election.\u00a0Those seeking the removal of Oyegun are working against President Muhammadu Buhari, APC governors and the goal of the ruling party\u201d the leaders said.<br \/>\nThe communiqu\u00e9, signed by the chairman, South-East Unity and advancement Forum (SEUAAF), Chief Maxwell Okoye,\u00a0praised APC governors, party chairmen and other leaders for doing what is best, particularlycompromising in the give and take of democratic politics.<br \/>\n\u201cThe whole point of forming a party is to work together to facilitate the party\u2019s interests\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9398655038gmail-c-article-bodytext\">Specifically, they commended Chief John Odigie-Oyegun for moving the party beyond\u00a0electoral coalitions of like-minded, elite politicians,\u00a0working towards a common goal,\u00a0leading the party through the hard work\u00a0and building unity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOyegun scores highly on the five dimensions \u2014internal party dynamics, party discipline, party accountability, stability and inclusiveness\u201d the leaders said.<br \/>\nThey listed steadiness, civility, thrift, forthrightness, firmness, integrity, fairness, multi-faceted experiences, intelligence and ideas as factors contributing to Oyegun\u2019s exceptional leadership.<br \/>\n\u201cOyegun is a genius in the area of leadership\u201d<br \/>\nThey also praised President Muhammadu Buhari and other elected officials\u00a0for making decisions that further the party\u2019s best interest.<br \/>\n\u201cAPC will do better with President Muhammadu Buhari on the ballot in 2019\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cAPC is not weak or dysfunctional.
