One of the groups most affected are the persecuted Christians in northern Nigeria who daily are running for their lives while looking for food to eat. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">Without certain dwelling place, no financial power, and dispossessed of their properties, the persecuted Christians in most parts of northern Nigeria are facing food crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">A Christians&#8217; new converts and orphanage centre, based in Gombe state, managed to rescue some of the affected children and organised a school for them. However, feeding the children has been a major difficulty. The situation got to a point they no longer had a timetable for feeding. Whenever there was food, they would eat.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_67497\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-67497\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-67497\" src=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/IMG-20231112-WA0003-300x226.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-67497\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Feature Photo above; and below: Help offered to the needy Christians.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">Availed of the situation, the North East representative of the Lay Faithful Trust Foundation went into action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">LFTF responded immediately with food support, and hopes to be consistent in supporting the children of the martyrs with food. This current project is exploratory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">We thank all the kind-hearted Christians who donate funds to LFTF for this ministry to the persecuted Christians.
