Who murdered a university teacher a few days after she sacked the female househelp who shared her home with her in Minna, the Niger State capital?<\/span><\/p>\n

This.is the beffuddling question after the A lecturer with the Department of Biochemistry, School of Life Sciences, Federal University of Technology, (FUT) Minna in Niger State, north central Nigeria, Dr. (Mrs) Adefolalu Funmilola Sherifat, was found with throat slit and knives kept beside her in her residence in the Gbaiko Area of the town.<\/span><\/p>\n

The chairman of the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) in the school, Professor Gbolahan Bolarin, has since confirmed the Sunday tragic development.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said the body of the deceased was discovered on Sunday morning when her church members traced her home after she was not seen during service.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some residents said after forcing the door to her house open, she was found in her pool of blood with her throat slit and knives found beside her. Police authorities later moved the body to the mortuary.<\/span><\/p>\n

The the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Police Command in Niger state, Wasiu Abiodun, told Channels Television that further information about the incident would be communicated in due course.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to some residents, the late varsity teacher\u2019s husband, who was a Professor in the same School, had passed on.<\/span><\/p>\n
