The killings were brutal and merciless. Over 100 people were killed in Mangu while 32,383 were reportedly displaced. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The ferocity of the attacks led government to impose curfew in the area. A peace meeting was convened in Jos, for three Local Government areas, to stem the tide of the rising wave of violence. According to credible local reports, some non-state actors within the community did not honour the invitation to the peace meeting. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">As of the time Lay Faithful Trust Foundation visited Mangu, some of the displaced persons were in seven IDP camps as follows:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">1. Pilot Science Primary School Camp, Bungha\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">2. Rabwak Fan Camp\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">3. Salama Baptist Church, Mangu\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">7. COCIN RCC Halle\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The immediate needs of the brethren include the following:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">1. Food Stuff<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">2. Medical Supplies<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">3. Mattresses<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">4. Children\u2019s Foot Wears <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">During the relief distribution, the following food items were distributed by Lay Faithful Trust Foundation to the IDPs:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">\u25aa\ufe0fRice<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">\u25aa\ufe0fBeans<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">\u25aa\ufe0fPalm oil<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">\u25aa\ufe0fMaggi<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">\u25aa\ufe0fSalt <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">&#8220;We thank all the donors who made the relief distribution possible. God bless you and increase you on every side. We thank Bro. Raymond and Pastor Yussuf for executing the relief distribution. God bless you all. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">&#8220;There is a lot of needs amongst the Christian IDPs. We pray for more resources to minister effectively to the persecuted brethren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">&#8220;As we thank our current donors, we appeal for more Christians to support the ministry to persecuted Christians. The word of God commands us to support our brethren in distress and affliction. In addition, if Christians undergoing afflictions are not supported and reinforced, the attackers will be emboldened to attack more Christians.
