{"id":65891,"date":"2023-08-07T06:52:36","date_gmt":"2023-08-07T06:52:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=65891"},"modified":"2023-08-07T06:52:36","modified_gmt":"2023-08-07T06:52:36","slug":"lay-faithful-goes-to-zango-kataf-with-medications-clothing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=65891","title":{"rendered":"Lay Faithful goes to Zango Kataf with medications, clothing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">As part of giving relief to internally displaced persons\u00a0 (IDPs), Lay Faithful Trust Foundation conducted relief distribution of clothes and medications to persecuted Christians in Warkan-Gora in July. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The community people in the community were believed to have been attacked by bandits of aniother faith; and 37 families suffered various degrees of injuries. 45 houses burnt and eight women became widowed.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65893\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65893\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-65893\" src=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG-20230805-WA0017-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65893\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lay Faithful donation to Warkan-Gora displaced residents.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">Clothes and medications were distributed to the IDPs. The medications are for the treatment of scabies, antibiotics for cough and catarrh, Paracetamol, as well as drugs for typhoid fever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The project in Warkan-Gora was more of an assessment of the situation in the community. This would be the first time Lay Faithful Trust Foundation would be reaching Warkan-Gora. A repeat visit is planned. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The foundation&#8217;s helmsman, Pastor Bosun Emmanuel, thanked generous contributors for this ministry to persecuted Christians, praying for God&#8217;s blessing and abundant reward.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65894\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65894\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-65894\" src=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG-20230805-WA00211-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65894\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Medications for the displaced persons.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">&#8220;We thank Victoria Fellowship Church for its consistent support and compassionate heart for persecuted Christians.
