Anthropologists have it that there are over 650 tribes in the world. Missiologists put the figure at over 16,000. *My own understanding of the sum total of the Bible on the other hand divides our world into two tribes: * the Wicked and the Righteous.*<\/p>\n
*The tribe of the righteous* is described as godly, just, truthful, loyal and generous. Whenever and wherever they rise to power, there is joy and gladness. *The Lord has his eyes on them, to preserves them*, their legacies and offspring. (Psalms 1, 34, 37)<\/p>\n
*The tribe of the wicked is characterised as* ungodly, unjust, untruthful, treacherous violent and oppressive. Whenever and wherever they rise to power, they spread misery. *They have no place with God and no enduring legacy* (Ps.1:6)<\/p>\n
“I have seen wicked and ruthless people \u00a0flourishing like a tree in its native soil. But when I looked again, they were gone… \u00a0Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits them” (Psalm 37:13-15)<\/p>\n
