We will appeal the judgement and we are sure justice will be done. Ademola Adeleke of Osun State.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He was sacked as Osun State Governor and Gboyega Oyetola affirmed as the winner of the 16 July governorship election in the State.<\/p>\n<p>The Election Petition Tribunal which heard his predecessor\u2019s petition against his victory on Friday declared, through Justice Tetsea Kume, that INEC did not comply substantially with the Constitution and the provisions of the Electoral Act.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of judges deducted the over-voting observed from the votes scored by the candidates and declared that Oyetola won the election, having polled 314, 921, while Adeleke\u2019s score came down to 290, 266.<\/p>\n<p>It ordered the INEC to withdraw Adeleke\u2019s certificate of return and issue another one to Oyetola who is the rightful winner of the election.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has said he is headed for the Court of Appeal describing the judgement of the governorship tribunal that removed from office as \u201d a miscarriage of justice\u201d.
