{"id":61544,"date":"2023-01-06T08:47:25","date_gmt":"2023-01-06T08:47:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=61544"},"modified":"2023-01-06T08:47:25","modified_gmt":"2023-01-06T08:47:25","slug":"come-in-your-numbers-you-will-return-in-your-zeros-kogi-govt-warns-terrorists-applauds-dss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=61544","title":{"rendered":"Come in your numbers, you will return in your zeros Kogi govt warns terrorists, applauds DSS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For terrorists seeking to make Kogi State their area of operation, they have been clearly told by the government that they may come to the state in their numbers, but they can be sure none of them will return.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the criminals come in their numbers, they will return in their zeros because Kogi as a state will remain inhabitable for cowards masquerading as criminals,\u201d state commissioner for information, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, said on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The government also commended the Department of State Security (DSS) for arresting masterminds of the Dec. 29, Okene explosion.<\/p>\n<p>The explosion, which happened hours to the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari, claimed three lives and several persons were injured<\/p>\n<p>Fanwo, in statement issued in Lokoja, thanked the DSS for unmasking the terrorists suspected to be behind the explosion.<\/p>\n<p>Fanwo said, \u201cthe promptness of action and results achieved by DSS has further steeled our trust in the security agencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe arrest of the principal characters has justified our position that enemies of the state are again breeding terror cells that has been crushed by the indomitable security architecture of the present administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf not for the master class security architecture of this government, the state would have been turned into a terror zone by its enemies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hereby call on the DSS and other security agencies to prudently dig deeper into the matter to unravel the real intent of the attackers and proffer how to avert future reoccurrence,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The commissioner further said that Kogi, under the leadership of Gov.
