{"id":60908,"date":"2022-12-02T20:43:52","date_gmt":"2022-12-02T20:43:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=60908"},"modified":"2022-12-02T20:43:52","modified_gmt":"2022-12-02T20:43:52","slug":"aisha-buhari-withdraws-case-against-student-over-tweet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=60908","title":{"rendered":"Aisha Buhari withdraws case against student over tweet"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Relying on Section 108 subsection 2(a) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, the prosecutor of a case involving a university student and t<b>he First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has withdrawn the case against a final-year student of the Federal University, Dutse, Aminu Adamu.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">24 years Adamu will now be available to begin his final examinations next Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Some reports say he is billed to meet Mrs. Buhari.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He was arrested by the police in Dutse, J8gawa State, for allegedly publishing a defamatory statement on his Twitter handle against the First Lady.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Though the tweet was posted in June, it went viral less than two weeks ago.
