President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated his controversial Special Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie as substantive chairman of the Niger Deltabjbbi kk Development Commission (NDDC).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Professor Tallen Mamma, SAN (North-East Representative, Adamawa)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Sodique Sani (North-West, Zonal Representative)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Chief Dr. Samuel Ibukun (MD)<\/p>\n
\u2022 General Charles Ehigie Airhiavbere (Rtd) (Executive of Finance)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Charles Ogunmola (Executive Director Project, South-West)<\/p>\n

In his letter to the Senate which contained the list of nominees, Buhari asked the chamber to confirm the appointments.<\/p>\n
At Wednesday\u2019s plenary Senate President Ahmad Lawan read the letter from the President to his colleagues.<\/p>\n
Dr. Lawan took time to explain to his colleagues why the President forwarded another list after a previous one in 2021 was screened and confirmed by the lawmakers.<\/p>\n
He said that Buhari\u2019s decision to send another list of nominees for confirmation was because there was a flaw in the previous compilation.<\/p>\n
