{"id":60674,"date":"2022-11-20T14:42:34","date_gmt":"2022-11-20T14:42:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=60674"},"modified":"2022-11-20T14:42:34","modified_gmt":"2022-11-20T14:42:34","slug":"terrorists-organise-naming-ceremony-as-more-abducted-fgc-yauri-female-students-deliver-babies-in-captivity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=60674","title":{"rendered":"Terrorists organise \u2018naming ceremony\u2019 as more abducted FGC Yauri female students deliver babies in captivity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Armed bandits have organized a feast for the child of a 16-year-old abducted female student of Federal Government College (FGC), Birnin Yauri, in Kebbi State, who gave birth to a child in their custody, PRNigeria learnt.<\/p>\n<p>The young mother is among 11 remaining female students yet to be released after gunmen abducted over 100 students and eight teachers and killed a policeman in the mixed boarding school on June 17, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>A few days after the abduction, security operatives succeeded in rescuing some of the students, while others escaped from the gunmen in the process of taking them away. The bandits also released the teachers and 30 of the students.<\/p>\n<p>PRNigeria\u00a0confirms that the girl delivered a baby boy in the abductors\u2019 forest camp a few weeks ago. (https:\/\/prnigeria.com\/2022\/11\/13\/exclusive-abducted-fgc-yauri\/)<\/p>\n<p>A local source who confirmed the news of the \u2018naming ceremony\u2019 of the child of the abducted FGC Yauri Female student to\u00a0PRNigeria, disclosed that two other students in the terrorists\u2019 den also gave birth to a baby girl and boy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are about four other female students who are pregnant at the moment. One of them is due to give birth any moment from now,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, one of the parents of the abducted female students who spoke to\u00a0PRNigeria\u00a0on phone called on the National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd)and Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Gen. Leo Irabor to intervene and ensure their children\u2019s release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the name of God Almighty, we call for that special committee constituted by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Lucky Irabor, to take charge and resolve it as quickly as possible as it did with Kaduna train passengers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe learn about how the remaining abducted passengers were released after six months in captivity through the efforts of the Irabor Committee and the endorsement of NSA Monguno.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is unfortunate that our daughters have spent more than one year in captivity and married off by force and becoming young mothers at tender ages\u2026 Oh my God. Haba!,\u201d the distraught parent told\u00a0PRNigeria\u00a0amid sobbing.<\/p>\n<p>Another parent who spoke to\u00a0PRNigeria\u00a0pointed out that the Chief of Defence Staff Action Committee (CDSAC) could facilitate the rescue of the female students in captivity.<\/p>\n<p>The parent, who pleaded anonymity, recalled how CDSAC on October 5 had secured the release and took custody of all the 23 remaining Abuja-Kaduna passengers held hostage by Boko Haram terrorists following the attack on the Abuja-to-Kaduna train on March 28, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after the release of the passengers, the secretary of the CDSAC Prof. Usman Yusuf said: \u201cThe nation owes a debt of gratitude to the Nigerian military under the leadership of the CDS, who conceived and guided the operation from start to finish. All sister security agencies and the Federal Ministry of Transportation contributed immensely to this operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe unwavering support of President Muhammadu Buhari is what made it all possible. Members of this committee are grateful for the rare honour and privilege to be part of this humanitarian operation.
