No, there is no latest development on the alleged serial killing chief medical director of the general hospital in the sleepy town. This time, a boy shot dead his younger sibling trying out a bullet-proof charm.<\/p>\n<p>Both brothers had just visited a juju man and allegedly fortified themselves for reasons yet unknown.<\/p>\n<p>At home, the elder decided to test the efficacy of the charm with his father&#8217;s dane gun, and boom! He killed his 12 years old brother. That alleged killer took off and is yet to be found.<\/p>\n<p>The state police spokesman in Kwara, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, stated in Ilorin on Monday: \u201cThe 12-year-old died on the spot from the shot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe two of them are sons of one Abubakar Abubakar, a hunter in Dutse Gogo town in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe culprit escaped into the bushes immediately after the act. Investigation into the matter has started.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParents and guardians are advised to monitor activities of their children and avoid doing certain things in their presence to prevent incidents of this nature,\u201d\u00a0Okasanmi stated.<\/p>\n<p>It was also in Kaiama that the Chief Medical Director at Kaiama General Hospital, Kwara State, Dr Adio Adeyemi Adebowale, allegedly killed three women, before allegedly killing another man in Edo State.<\/p>\n<p>Adeyemi, an indigene of Offa, Kwara State, was arrested by the Edo State Police Command after he killed a cab driver in Benin City, Edo state, dumped his corpse in the bush, and took off with his victim&#8217;s car. He also confessed that he kidnapped and murdered his girlfriend, Ifeoluwa, who was declared missing in Tanke area of Kwara state in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation was launched into the gruesome murders and in the process, the decomposing remains of two women were found in his office.<\/p>\n<p>One of the women was found inside a shallow grave dug in his office while the corpse of the second woman was found in a garbage bin. One of the women, a housewife, Nofisat Halidu, was declared missing by her husband on November 21, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The Kwara State Police spokesman had said that investigations would be expanded to cover every area when the suspect is eventually brought to Kwara from Edo State.<\/p>\n<p>His statement: \u201cIn furtherance of the investigation, the Kwara commissioner of Police, Mr Paul Odama, had contacted the Edo State Police Command requesting for the release of the suspect to the Kwara state Police command to answer some questions regarding the discoveries in his office\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Okasanmi confirmed that one of the decomposing corpses, dug out beneath the floor in the office of the suspect, was recently covered with tiles, while the other one was discovered in a trash can in the same office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Kwara State Police command wishes to inform the public of the result of an investigation ordered by CP Paul Odama psc the newly posted Commissioner of Police Kwara State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn assumption of office, as commissioner of Police in Kwara State, while going through some petitions written by some citizens, a particular case struck the CP regarding a reported case of one missing lady by name Nofisat Halidu \u2018Female\u2019 in Kaiama, Kaiama local government area of Kwara State, on 21\/11\/2021. The CP immediately ordered the setting up of a high-powered investigation team led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the State CID, to unravel the mystery surrounding the kidnap case and other unresolved cases before his assumption of office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on the CP order, investigations into the cases began yesterday 30\/9\/2022. Working on a lead provided by the arrest and confession of one Dr Adio Adeyemi Adebowale \u2018Male\u2019 in Edo State confirming he killed one Ifeoluwa \u2018Female\u2019 his girlfriend who was declared missing in Tanke area of Ilorin sometimes in 2021 and her dead body later discovered in a bush in Alapa area of Ilorin where he dumped it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIncidentally, the said doctor was the chief medical director of Kaiama General hospital. An investigation led the team to Kaiama General Hospital where the suspect\u2019s office was forced opened and a cursory look at the office presented a suspicious sight of freshly cemented floor tiles. Curiously the tiles were broken and a gory sight welcomed the detectives, behold, lying inside the shallow grave was a decomposing carcass of an unidentified female.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurther search of the office led to the opening of a trash can where another body of a lady later identified as the earlier reported missing Nofisat Halidu \u2018female\u2019 identified by the husband, one Mr Halidu and other members of the community who were present at the scene at the time of the search.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOther items recovered in the detained doctor\u2019s office included, two telephone handsets found in the handbag of one of the ladies found in the doctor\u2019s drawer.
