Praying is as old and as\u00a0 universal as the existence of humanity. Men in every culture and generation do pray – any how they do.<\/p>\n
Prayer however is only meaningful and helpful when one is assured of two things<\/b>– first that you are heard, and\u00a0 that you can expect an answer. How can we be sure?<\/p>\n
Assurance in prayer<\/b>\u00a0comes from three main sources:<\/p>\n
1. WHO you are praying to.<\/b>
\nThe “gods” and idols men and cultures have invented are not a good hope.
\n“Their idols are merely things… shaped by human hands<\/b>. They have mouths but cannot speak,
\nand eyes but cannot see. They\u00a0 cannot hear,\u00a0 They cannot feel, and cannot walk…” (Psalm 115:5-8)<\/p>\n
There is only one living GOD who answers prayer. His name is JEHOVAH<\/b>.
\n“What mighty praise, O God, belongs to you … for you are The God who answers our prayers\u00a0 (Psalm 65:1)<\/p>\n
WHO you are trusting in prayer determines whether you are PRAYING or just PLAYING<\/b>
