Rev. Dennis Mark, the Methodist Bishop of Owerri and the Prelate\u2019s Chaplain, by yet to identified gunmen.<\/p>\n<p>Sources told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the clergymen were kiddnapped in the afternoon while they were on their way from a programme in the council area.<br \/>\nThe Police Public Relation Officer in Abia, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna, confirmed the incident to our correspondent.<br \/>\n\u201cIt\u2019s quite unfortunate. Efforts are on top gear toward his rescue as well as other priests with him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe solicit credible information from the public toward their rescue, please,\u201d he said.
