{"id":57338,"date":"2022-04-28T19:40:02","date_gmt":"2022-04-28T19:40:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=57338"},"modified":"2022-04-28T19:40:02","modified_gmt":"2022-04-28T19:40:02","slug":"17-children-of-kaduna-governorship-aspirant-purchase-n50m-form-for-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=57338","title":{"rendered":"17 children of Kaduna governorship aspirant purchase N50m form for him"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_57341\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57341\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-57341\" src=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/IMG-20220428-WA0049-300x260.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"260\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-57341\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Above: Children presenting form to their father; below: Displaying the form.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>New variant as children pick APC governorship nomination forms for father<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By <strong>Emmanuel Mogbede<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A new variant of buying of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms came to the fore at the All Progressives Congress (APC) party in Abuja on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Seventeen children of an APC governorship aspirant in Kaduna State, Alhaji Sani Sha\u2019aban, came together and bought the forms for him to contest the 2023 governorship election in the state.<\/p>\n<p>What was trending in the political arena before Thursday was for \u201cpressure groups\u2019\u2019 and \u201cfriends\u2019\u2019 to pick the forms for aspirants in virtually all the political parties.<\/p>\n<p>Asmau Sani-Sha\u2019aban, the Chief Executive Officer, Design Oasis and eldest daughter of the governorship aspirant, confirmed on Thursday in Abuja that the children came together and contributed the N50 million needed to pick the forms.<\/p>\n<p>She said the forms were gifts from the children to \u201cour father, who is an astute politician with great competence and ability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has what it takes to govern and to bring lasting peace to Kaduna State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis chances of emerging victorious in the election are bright because the people love and admire him.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Asmau, a construction engineer, described her father as a man with empathy who relates well with all, including with the less privileged.<\/p>\n<p>She assured Kaduna State residents that if elected as governor in 2023, her father would address issues of insecurity in the state by creating employment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe believes that insecurity in the state is caused by lack of jobs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo him, if the people are properly engaged, and there are enough jobs, issues of insecurity will be brought to an end as the people will be gainfully employed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf there are enough jobs, insecurity in the state wouldn\u2019t be as bad as it is today,\u2019\u2019 she said, adding that her father\u2019s priority would be education and advancement of technology.<\/p>\n<p>Still expanding on her father\u2019s selling points, Asmau said Alhaji Sha\u2019aban would address infrastructure deficit in Kaduna State if elected governor in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>By <strong>NAN<\/strong> (www.nannews.ng)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New variant as children pick APC governorship nomination forms for father By Emmanuel Mogbede A new variant of buying of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms came to the fore at the All Progressives Congress (APC) party in Abuja on Thursday.
