{"id":56788,"date":"2022-03-25T21:33:22","date_gmt":"2022-03-25T21:33:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=56788"},"modified":"2022-03-25T21:33:22","modified_gmt":"2022-03-25T21:33:22","slug":"50-shot-dead-houses-burnt-as-bandits-raid-nine-communities-in-kaduna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=56788","title":{"rendered":"\u201950 Shot Dead\u2019, Houses Burnt As Bandits Raid Nine Communities In Kaduna"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>About fifty people were killed while unspecified number of persons were abducted when bandits attacked nine communities in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n<p>ASP Mohammed Jalinge, Police Public Relations Officer in the state,\u00a0 who confirmed the incident, said the command is yet to compile the actual number of deaths recorded during the invasion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are still waiting for the full details of the incident from the Divisional Police Officer, Giwa and the Area Commander Zaria,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Daily Trust, a member of Vigilante Group in Dillalai area, Mansur Ibrahim, said the bandits also burnt houses and vehicles, motorcycles and rustled away over 100 cows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe villages affected were Dillalai, Zango Tama, Kaya, Barebari, Anguwan Bakko, Gidan Alhajin Kida, Kadanya and Durumi among others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDillalai was worst hit by the attack where about 15 people were reported to be killed, with five commercial trucks and five houses burnt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe bandits also burnt a church at Zangon Tama village, all in Giwa local government area,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Ibrahim said some of the victims who sustained gunshot injuries were receiving treatment at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Shika-Zaria.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa\ufe0e Report by <strong>Daily Trust<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About fifty people were killed while unspecified number of persons were abducted when bandits attacked nine communities in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
