{"id":56670,"date":"2022-03-21T16:44:15","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T16:44:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=56670"},"modified":"2022-03-21T16:44:15","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T16:44:15","slug":"kaduna-govt-imposes-24-hour-curfew-on-two-jemaa-kaura-lgas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=56670","title":{"rendered":"Kaduna govt imposes 24-hour curfew on two Jema&#8217;a &#038; Kaura LGAs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Kaduna State Government on Monday declared 24-hour curfew in Jema\u2019a and Kaura Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n<p>The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, made the announcement in a statement issued in Kaduna.<\/p>\n<p>Aruwan said following advice from security agencies, the Kaduna State Government declared the curfew in Jema\u2019a and Kaura Local Government Areas with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is to assist the security agencies to stabilise the situation in the areas, save lives and property and enable the restoration of law and order,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that security agencies have full authorisation to enforce the curfew.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGovernment appeals to all residents of Jema\u2019a and Kaura LGAs to cooperate with the security agencies in the urgent task of restoring peace and upholding law and order.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGovernment condemns the violence and all acts of lawlessness that have occurred in the area, \u201che said.<\/p>\n<p>The commissioner said further updates would be issued when necessary.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa\ufe0e By <strong>NAN<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kaduna State Government on Monday declared 24-hour curfew in Jema\u2019a and Kaura Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.
