Jesus replied, \u201cYou must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.\u2019 This is the first and greatest&#8230; a second is\u00a0 \u2018Love your neighbor as yourself&#8221;&#8230; All the demands of the Law and\u00a0 Prophets are based on these&#8230;\u201d (Matthew 22:36-40,NLT)<\/p>\n<p>Religion can be quite demanding, for it comes with laws, liturgies and dogmas too numerous and complex to remember and observe. The Jews had over 600 of such, apart from the 10 commandments.<\/p>\n<p>GOD simply demands a relationship based on\u00a0 LOVE for\u00a0 Him and for others. This means trusting and obeying Him, affirming and serving others. How complex is that?<\/p>\n<p>If all our engagements with God do not come down to these two, then they are too complicated.
