{"id":5025,"date":"2017-09-18T20:49:27","date_gmt":"2017-09-18T20:49:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=5025"},"modified":"2017-09-18T20:49:27","modified_gmt":"2017-09-18T20:49:27","slug":"borno-police-confirms-10-dead-in-suicide-bombings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=5025","title":{"rendered":"Borno Police confirms 10 dead in suicide bombings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Borno State Police Command has said that aside three suicide bombers, 10 other persons died in separate bomb attacks in two villages.<br \/>\nTens of the injured were taken to the Konduga General Hospital.<br \/>\nBorno Police spokesman, Mr Isuku Victor, the attacks took place on Sunday night and on Monday morning.<br \/>\n\u201cYesterday (September 17), at about 2230hrs, some suspects, reasonably believed to be Boko Haram terrorists, attacked Kurumari village which is about 14km east of Magumeri town in Magumeri LGA,\u201d he said in a statement.<br \/>\n\u201cToday (September 18), at about 1050hrs, two males and a female suicide bomber, carried out coordinated suicide bomb attacks at different locations in Mashemari village in Konduga LGA.\u201d<br \/>\nThe Imam of Kurumari village, and four others were reportedly killed during the attack.<br \/>\nIn the other village coordinated bomb attacks occurred after shortly after gun shots on a farm, which was followed suicide bombings by two attackers who exploited the stampede.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Borno State Police Command has said that aside three suicide bombers, 10 other persons died in separate bomb attacks in two villages.
