It can be political or administrative. Ultimately, all authority is derived from a sovereign. It is therefore spiritual.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;&#8230;All power belongs to God &#8230; All authority comes from God..&#8221; (1Pet. 5:11; Rom. 13:1b)<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GOD is the ultimate owner and&nbsp; dispenser of authority. And by His sovereignty and redemptive plan, He chose&nbsp; to bestow ALL His authority on Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;&#8230;God elevated him&#8230; and gave him the name above all names&#8230; Jesus told his disciples, \u201cI have been given all authority in heaven and on earth (Phil. 5:2; Matt. 28:18)<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JESUS in turn delegated His authority to His Church, His representative and ambassadors on earth.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;&#8230; And hath made us kings and priests unto God &#8230; I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven&#8230;&#8221; (Rev. 1:6; Matt. 16:9)<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As believers, we are people WITH authority even where we are NOT IN authority.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00a9 Buti Sam KPUTU<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Buti Sam Kpuru &#8220;Authority is the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience&#8221;.
