{"id":37122,"date":"2021-11-26T21:03:48","date_gmt":"2021-11-26T20:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=37122"},"modified":"2021-11-26T21:03:48","modified_gmt":"2021-11-26T20:03:48","slug":"covid-19-federal-government-makes-vaccination-pcr-test-compulsory-as-it-recalls-all-staff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=37122","title":{"rendered":"Covid-19: Federal Government makes vaccination, PCR test compulsory as it recalls all staff"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Federal government employees on Grade level 12 and below who have worked from home for more than a year are to return to their offices from next Wednesday 1st December, 2021, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan has announced in a circular.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, there is pre-condition for them and other federal employees to return to their desks: they must show evidence of vaccination under the vaccine mandate policy of the Presidential Steering Committee on Covid-19, approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the alternative, the employees would need to show a PCR test done within 72 hours to report for duty.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The circular listed two Federal Staff Clinics in Abuja as well as the clinics of the Federal Ministries of Works and Housing; Agriculture and Rural Development; and&nbsp; Finance where unvaccimated employees can go to get their jabs.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other vaccination centers, according to the circular, are listed on the National Primary Health Care Development Agency website www.nphcda.gov.ng\/vaccinationsites.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Screenshot_20211126-201847_Office-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37123\"\/><figcaption>The circular<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Federal government employees on Grade level 12 and below who have worked from home for more than a year are to return to their offices from next Wednesday 1st December, 2021, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan has announced in a circular.
