{"id":35638,"date":"2021-09-17T11:30:43","date_gmt":"2021-09-17T10:30:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=35638"},"modified":"2021-09-17T11:30:43","modified_gmt":"2021-09-17T10:30:43","slug":"breaking-court-orders-fg-to-pay-sunday-igboho-n20-billion-for-invading-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=35638","title":{"rendered":"Breaking: Court orders FG to pay Sunday Igboho N20 billion for invading home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A State High Court sitting in Ibadan, has ordered the Federal Government  to pay the sum of N20billion to Yoruba nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho, as damages for the invasion of his residence.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details of the ruling are still being expected, but Thursday Igboho asked his supporters to stop using his name indiscriminately to stage any demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Igboho, in a statement by his lead counsel, Yomi Aliyu, SAN, said that on no account should anybody attack any public place or security personnel on the pretense of agitating for the Yoruba Nation.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement reads: \u201cThere is time for everything. Sunday Adeyemo, aka Igboho Oosa, is desirous of respecting those murdered in his house on that black July 1, 2021. In that wise, he has advised against staging any demonstration or rally in his name for the time being.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe will also like people to respect his family by not calling his mum out for anything public. Igboho for now has no authentic mouthpiece anywhere. In that wise people are advised to take anything said by anybody claiming to be from him, with a pinch of salt.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe exception is the statement by his lead counsel. Let\u2019s respect the dead.
