After months of a thawed romance, and the Federal Government’s cold shoulder, the Bring Back Our Girls group members, angry at the continued abduction of 218 Chibok female students of a secondary school,\u00a0plan to deliver a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari in New York city as he meets with other world leaders for the United Nation’s General Assembly.
\nTheir new strategy after three failed attempts to see Buhari in his official residence in Abuja, following Police blockades, is seen\u00a0by observers to further reawaken waning interest in the abducted girls\u00a0by the international community.
\nThe girls were abducted over 880 days by Boko Haram insurgents in the heat of\u00a0their campaign of violence in April 2014.
