{"id":33950,"date":"2021-06-08T18:38:52","date_gmt":"2021-06-08T17:38:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=33950"},"modified":"2021-06-08T18:38:52","modified_gmt":"2021-06-08T17:38:52","slug":"efcc-nabs-50-for-alleged-internet-fraud-in-ibadan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=33950","title":{"rendered":"EFCC nabs 50 for alleged Internet Fraud in Ibadan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,\u00a0EFCC says it has arrested\u00a050 suspected internet fraudsters.<br \/><br \/>The suspects were\u00a0arrested\u00a0last Friday at\u00a0Alaro Sango, Agbaje Ijokoro, and Apete Aladura\u00a0areas of Ibadan, Oyo State following intelligence on their alleged\u00a0involvement in internet fraud.<br \/><br \/>Thirty four of the suspects already indicted by the investigation are:<br \/><br \/>Badmus Abeeb, Ibrahim Ahmed, Adeyemo Babatunde, Abdulrashid Ajagbe, Olajide Okiki Peter, Hassan Yusuf Atanda, Yusuf Olasupo Salaudeen, Bello Ahmed Bamidele, Adewale Damilola Tosin, Kolawole Yusuf Olawale, Nicholas Ferdinand, Keshiro Olanrewaju, Falana Victor Dapo, Abogunrin Emmanuel, Bosun Tomiwa Tunde, Shelter Chibundo, Banjoko Idris, and Adebayo Akorede.<br \/><br \/>Others are: Awoyinka Afeez Ayodeji, Afonja Olarenwaju, Akingbade Taofeek, Ezekiel Adekunle, Ganiyu Sodiq, Abioye Abiodun, Ogunbayo Daniel, John Timileyin, Ominiyi Daniel, Adeniyi Idris Sodiq, Joseph James, Adeyemi Segun Oluwaseun, Adeleke Rasheed, Saliu Tomiwa Rasheed, Itoro Edet Ime and Oseni Nasirudeen<br \/><br \/>Some items used in perpetrating the crime were recovered from them.<br \/><br \/>The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded, a statement by the commission&#8217;s spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren says.<br \/><br \/><br \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,\u00a0EFCC says it has arrested\u00a050 suspected internet fraudsters.
