Unfortunately, we often attack the symptoms and not the disease.<br \/><br \/>Sin not only shortens and diminishes people and nations, it kills. It shortens our joys, hopes and lives. And kills our potential and destiny.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;Righteousness exalts&#8230;Sin is a reproach&#8221; (Proverbs 14:34). Families and nations are built and sustained on foundations of love, peace, righteousness and justice. Nothing else would do.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;The Israelites did things which made the Lord angry again. So he sent the Midianites to fight them. The Midianites won the fight. They ruled Israel for seven years. They were very cruel to the Israelites&#8230;&#8221; (Judges 6:1\u202d-\u202c2 EASY)<br \/><br \/>Not every crisis is a result of sin, but every sin in and around us breeds a crisis.
