The General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye,  says Nigeria will record overwhelming victory in its battle against insecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pastor Adeboye made this known when he paid a courtesy call on Gov. Nasir El-Rufai at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House on Tuesday in Kaduna.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cVictory is around the corner\u201d he told the governor and offered prayers for the governor,  Kaduna state and Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cI am assuring you that the Almighty God is going to fight for you, He is going to fight for Kaduna State, He is going to fight for Nigeria,\u2019\u2019 the pastor added.<\/p>\n\n\n

He described El-Rufai as a tender-hearted man, who was misunderstood by many.\u201cI know the kind of person you are, I know you are tender hearted, I know how you definitely must be feeling, particularly when the kidnappings are going on, when they begin to kidnap school children.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n

Adeboye told the governor\u00a0not\u00a0to despair, but to put his trust in God at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n

“Welcome, sir,” el Rufai seems to be saying<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n

\u201cWhen God begins to do what He alone can do, then the world will see it and they will glorify the name\u00a0of\u00a0God, and many people who might be criticizing you now, will probably see the other side\u00a0of\u00a0the story.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n

In his response, El Rufai commiserated with the Redeemed Family over the recent abduction of some pastors and  parishioners in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n

The governor said, \u201cWe also seek your blessings and prayers, as a great man of God, to assist us with the challenges that we are facing here and the country at large.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cThis country needs divine intervention more than at any time in its  history.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cWe are grateful for your prayers, we are grateful for your blessings, and we will continue to ask for more\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

El-Rufai described the Redeem Church as a pillar and symbol of Nigeria\u2019s unity \u201cand positive force for peace and progress\u201d in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n
