The multitudes follow for what they can get out of Him. They are largely self-seeking. The Disciples, on the other hand, follow for what He can make out them. They are essentially self-sacrificing (Jn.6:26; Mt. 4:19; Lk. 14:25-33)<br \/><br \/>The title &#8220;CHRISTIAN&#8221; is not very popular in the Bible. What we rather have is DISCIPLES. In the King James Version for instance, &#8220;Christian&#8221; appears 3 times while &#8220;Disciple(s)&#8221; appears 272 times. Little wonder, the commission the Lord gave His Church was to go make &#8216;DISCIPLES&#8217;, not gather &#8216;CHRISTIANS&#8217;. For it is Disciples that were recognised as Christians (Acts 11:26)<br \/><br \/>JESUS has never sought for Multitudes or Crowds; He is neither a vote-seeking politician nor a tithe-seeking preacher. He came for, paid for and seeks for DISCIPLES.
