{"id":27722,"date":"2020-07-30T09:33:05","date_gmt":"2020-07-30T08:33:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=27722"},"modified":"2020-07-30T09:33:05","modified_gmt":"2020-07-30T08:33:05","slug":"neco-others-hold-exams-between-aug-17-and-nov-18","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=27722","title":{"rendered":"NECO, others hold exams between Aug. 17 and Nov. 18"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Government has announced that national examinations for exit classes of primary, basic, and secondary schools will be conducted between August 17 and November 18.<br \/>\nThe examinations are the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) of the National Examination Council (NECO); the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) examinations for SS3 students; and the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) examinations.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_27724\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27724\" style=\"width: 183px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-27724\" src=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/images.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"183\" height=\"276\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-27724\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Minister of State for Education, Jon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba.<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nThere are also the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) for JSS 3 students, and the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for applicants from primary school applicants into Unity Colleges.<br \/>\nBut these examinations will be preceded by the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).<br \/>\nAccording to a statement from the Federal Ministry of Education, NABTEB examinations are scheduled to start on September 21, NECO&#8217;s on October 5, and the NCEE is scheduled for October 17.<br \/>\nThe National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) examination starts September 23.<br \/>\nThe lMinister of State for Education, Hon.
