\nUnder a Social Housing Programme, the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has announced that for as low as N30,000 monthly, mortgages would be available to help low income earning Nigerians own a house.
\nIt is part of a N100 billion Family Home Fund, he said in Abuja Monday.
\nHe described the Federal Government\u2019s Social Investment Programmes as been very successful.
\nOsinbajo spoke at an event to project the achievements of the SIP in Abuja.
\nHis words, “Most importantly, we have ensured that our programmes are in all states, not just the APC states, so much so that some of the governors in non-APC states even take credit for these Federal Government\u2019s programmes.\u201d
\n\u201cA country\u2019s economic development is a function of the number living above poverty level.
\n\u201cOur levels of poverty are so alarming that clearly some fundamental interventions by government are necessary.
